Good morning Alexander Families, just a reminder today is pick up and BBQ day for families with last names beginning with the letters N-Z, starting at 11:00 a.m. and ending at 2:00 p.m.. Families are organized by the last name of the youngest student in the family. We look forward to seeing everyone!
In place of our Annual High School Awards Banquet we will be honoring our students thru videos created by their coaches/advisors. Videos will be posted to our Alexander Public School Facebook page, please enjoy them as they are posted!
This week is our Year End BBQ!! Families are asked to bring all devices, including cases & charging parts, textbooks, library books and any school property during the hours of 11:00-2:00. The roads are under construction so please use Richards Ave and proceed to the north side of the school which is by the football field.

The end is near parents and students! For those of you with assignments not completed yet, here is some information about how we are closing out the academic year. Students will be able to turn in assignments until Monday, May 18th. Any missing assignments should turned in as soon as possible. If students have questions about assignments they should contact their teacher or the homework helpdesk.

Superintendent Bieber and Miss Johnson with FCI Construction Management and EAPC Architect for the Ground Breaking Ceremony on April 23rd for Alexanders New Industrial Arts Building! We are very excited to see the finished project and that we are able to offer this to our students!
On Wednesday, May 6th and Thursday, May 7th, families may pick up their students' items from their desks and lockers; this will also include packets for our elementary students. This pickup will be similar to the packet pickup, except families will be designated to a day based on their last name. Families who share more than one last name will go by the last name of the youngest student in their family. As you arrive at the school please contact the front office so we can be prepared; families are asked to park along the sidwalk at the school and you students' items will be brought to you.The school will be open at 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday. If you have any questions please contact the school.

The newly formed Alexander HS Ambassadors participated in a call yesterday with the WCHS Ambassadors to discuss the McKenzie County Emergency Operations Center. Special guest, Darrius Shepherd, joined the group to talk about persevering through tough times like we are experiencing.

Their legislative bills for the 2020 National Youth Legislative E-Congress were passed!
The students exchange legislation with students from all over the country and act as a mock House of Representatives. Getting bills passed is no easy task and their bills will be forwarded on to state legislators. Nice job! #COMETSSTRONG
