Good evening everyone, I hope you have enjoyed your weekend of warmer weather and sunshine! Monday starts our 2nd week of distance learning. Please be sure to contact your teacher and administration with any questions or concerns! Also, when we closed the school building per executive order, it included our campus which means the playground equipment as well. Thank you and have a good week! Ms. Bieber

Message from Superintendent Bieber:
1. Hello Alexander Students and Parents! I hope all of you are well, we miss you very much! The building is quiet and lonely! But we have been busy!!!
2. Alexander Public School is in session! 100%, now, not starting April 1st! We have transitioned from face to face to distance learning. This means students will need to fulfill teacher expectations just as if they were in class face to face. Participation and student productivity are linked to their grade for the 4th quarter, receiving credit (9-12), graduation for our seniors or progression in grade levels K-8.
3. All teachers are on-line with distance learning platforms such as Class Dojo, Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams. Make sure that you have made contact with your teachers and are enrolled in their classes. If you need help, contact the school at 701-828-3334. Things coming your way soon are an IT helpdesk and a Homework Helpdesk for both students AND parents. Parents we have your back! We will be in touch as soon as they are ready to go.
4. School meals: Please contact the school if you would like to receive daily school meals, Monday – Thursday. Each daily meal includes lunch and breakfast for kids 1-18. This means that even if your child does not attend school due to their age, they are still eligible to receive a meal. Please utilize this wonderful program being offered. Contact the front office to sign up!
5. School Devices: Alexander is a 1:1 school which means that every Alexander student has a device available to them K-12. We have sent out devices for those students who need one at home to participate in school. A friendly reminder to students that your device are still covered under school policy. Go Guardian monitors inappropriate usage and administration is notified even when you are not in the building! Parents will be contacted with any inappropriate use. Please use care with the devices as all devices will need to be returned to the school by May 24th.
Take Care Everyone! We miss you!!
