Beginning September 04, 2020, breakfast and lunch is FREE to all Alexander Public School Students. The USDA has granted a waiver extension for free meals until December 31st, 2020. This means ALL students in Alexander Public School will receive free breakfasts and lunches until December 31st, 2020, regardless of their free/reduced status. The free meals include students in school, students on a hybrid schedule, and Distance Learning Students. Distance Learning Students are welcome to pick up their meals at the school. Please contact the front office to schedule your pickup. What you need to know: • You may continue to fill out free and reduced applications to ensure that your status will remain in January 2021. If you have already filled out an application and been considered reduced or denied, you will not be charged for meals until January 2021. • The following items are not included in the free meals: o Seconds will be charged at $.25. o Individual milk is $.25. • The free meal is intended to be a complete meal. Students wanting to purchase individual items, such as milk or an seconds must pay a la carte prices. • Any money on your student’s account will remain until charges begin again on January 1st, 2021. Comet Volleyball is happening tonight! The first home match of the year is against the Parshall Braves. The night starts with junior high at 5:00, junior varsity at 6:00 and varsity at 7:00. The THEME is USA; wear your red, white, and blue to celebrate our veterans! We will also be celebrating our senior players for their dedication to Comet Volleyball. *We will be practicing social distancing and have hand sanitizer available. We hope to see you there!

Families, due to the scheduling of our dress up days for Homecoming and Picture Day, we are switching Sleeping Beauty Day and Mickey Mouse Day to help make Picture Day a success. We are so excited to see everyone tomorrow! Here is some information about drop offs in the morning. EVERYONE is asked to use Simpson Avenue to come to the school and enter the parking lot. Everyone will leave the parking lot, take a right on Delaney, and then a left on Manning Avenue. PLEASE ADHERE TO THE THE ARROWS ON THE MAP WHEN COMING TO SCHOOL TOMORROW. The YELLOW star indicates where grades 7-12 are to enter the building. The WHITE stare indicates where grades 1-6 are to enter the building **This only for tomorrow.

High school students - tomorrow you will enter the school using the door Mrs. Rizzo's (Brummond) room. There you will be given your class schedule and locker assignment. Throughout the day on Wednesday and Thursday, students will meet with Mrs. Faller and Miss Hansel by appointment, starting with seniors, to adjust schedules as needed. Students are expected to attend the classes on their schedules until they have this meeting. If there are any questions, feel free to contact Mrs. Faller. We are excited to see you!
