Ninth grade orientation will be held on Tuesday, April 25th at 6:30 in the library. We hope to see all 8th grade students and parents. Topics of discussion include registration for high school, how students earn credit, graduation requirements, and the state scholarship.
Alexander Activities Banquet this Thursday night, April 20th, starting at 6:30pm with dinner and the program at 7pm. This banquet is for all students that played varsity and are lettering in football, volleyball, boys basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, track, speech, drama, and music. All students were given an invitation to the banquet. We look forward to seeing you Thursday night!!
Mr. Spacher's Law & Justice class was escorted by Deputy Cloud when they toured the new Law Enforcement Center in Watford City.

Come out and support our Comets tonight! The evening begins at 4 pm with the elementary basketball girls. It continues with the elementary boys at 5 pm. Finish off this exciting evening with pee-wee wrestling starting at 6 pm. Free admission and concession are being served. Hope to see everyone there!!
There will be an After Prom committee meeting today, March 20th, in the school library.
There will be no after school program on Tuesday March 21st.
There is a combined boys and girls, 5th and 6th grade, basketball game today at 630 pm in Alexander. The teams will have practice after school at 4, team pictures at 5, and game starts at 630.
Due to the weather, school will be releasing school today, March 6th, at 11:30 am. Buses will run at 11:45 am.
The Alexander Youth Wrestlers season is off to a great start. On Friday the 24th they wrestled the Beach tournament and a few wrestled in the Sunday tourney on the 25th.

Due to Parent/Teacher Conferences tomorrow, March 2nd, from 3-9 the after school program has been cancelled. It will resume as normal next week.
Congratualtions to Nicole Hall (gr. 12), Hunter Pendland (gr. 10), Breanna Schooley (gr. 8) for being selected as the Students of the Month in March! The Student of the Month is based on leadership, perseverance, effort & attendance.
Join Alexander Foundation for our 3rd Annual Night Out on March 4th starting at 6:30pm at the Fire Hall. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the school's front office, High Way Lounge, Shuga' Shack, or at the door, the night of the dance. Hope to see everyone there!
Parent/Teacher Conferences are March 2nd from 3-9. Letters are being sent home today, Feb 23rd, with elementary students and mailed for high school students. School will be released at 3:00 pm on March 2nd. Buses will run at that time.
Last week, Miss Hill, Mrs. White & Mrs. Faller brought students to the Capitol to demonstrate the cool things we do at APS. Needless to say, our students did awesome & represented APS well.
There will be a bake sale tomorrow, Feb 23rd, during lunch.
There is a Pep Rally today, February 21st, in the new gym for the Boys Basketball team. The boys play tonight in Trenton at 7pm. Come and support our Comets!
