Welcome Back, Comets!
We hope everyone had an amazing week— and what a week it was! Thanks to our creative and spirited Middle-School Student Council, we celebrated Easter Dress-Up Week in true Comet style. From pastel colors to dresses, the school was bursting with spring vibes! One of the biggest highlights? Bring-Anything-But-A-Binder Day! Students showed off their inventiveness with wild and wacky alternatives to their usual backpacks. The most unforgettable? A student proudly rolling through the halls with a toy truck as their bookbag — talk about making a statement!
Meanwhile, over on the green, Boys’ Golf is already making waves this season! The team teed off to a strong start, securing an impressive 2nd place finish at their opening meet. Shoutout to Jacen Rustand for his outstanding performance, taking 2nd place individually! Let’s keep cheering them on as the season continues.
Speaking of golf — mark your calendars! The High School Student Council Golf Fundraiser is just around the corner next month. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a day on the course while supporting your school. Don’t forget to sign up early to reserve your spot!
Looking ahead, we’re proud to host the Annual Blood Drive on April 23rd. It’s a chance to make a real difference in someone’s life. Remember, giving a little truly means a lot. Visit our website today to sign up and be a hero — every donation counts!
Let’s take a moment to relive the magic of Prom Night this past Saturday — a night full of memories, music, and sparkle! The theme made the evening feel like a dream, and we were thrilled to crown our Prom Royalty: Prom Queen Mckenzie Suko and Prom King Jordan Hernandez! Congratulations to them both! And the fun didn’t stop there — the after-prom celebration at the bowling alley kept the good times rolling until the very end.
And don’t forget — tonight is a very special night here at school. Join us for Community Speech Night at 5:30 PM, where our incredibly talented speech team will be sharing their powerful and inspiring presentations. We are especially proud to feature three State-Qualifying speakers! In total, seven of our phenomenal speakers have qualified for State next Saturday! Let’s give a big round of applause to Brooke Rykhus, Ben Honstein, Garrett Rider, Ty Womelsdorf, Vivian Lundeen, Chantal Murphy, and Eleanna Hokenson!
See you next week, Comets!
