Good afternoon, Comets!
We’ve officially wrapped up the Third Quarter, and what an incredible journey it’s been! Our students have worked tirelessly and accomplished so much this quarter. We want to take a moment to recognize a few of our standout students for their amazing achievements. Please join us in congratulating this month’s Students of the Month: 1st grader Ezra Drees, 6th grader Christopher Brock, and Junior Jacob Novak! Each of these students has shown exceptional positivity, dedication, and maturity throughout the month. Ezra, Christopher, and Jacob have truly embodied the spirit of our school and set a shining example for their peers. What a fantastic way to end the Third Quarter on a high note!
But, of course, our students aren’t the only ones who deserve a round of applause! Let’s also give a huge shout-out to this month’s Staff Members of the Month: Alex Bieber and Steve Bradley. Alex is one of the friendly faces in our office who is always eager to help out and make everyone feel welcome. Her positive energy and commitment to our students never go unnoticed, and she’s always staying busy making sure everything runs smoothly. Steve Bradley, one of our dedicated custodians, is also a huge asset to our school. Steve’s passion for keeping our school clean and safe is unmatched. As he puts it, “I want the kids to have a clean room… I want the kids to be in a clean room… I do it for the kids.” His hard work and care truly make a difference every single day, and we are so grateful for all that he does behind the scenes. Thank you, Alex and Steve, for all your hard work and positive contributions to our school community!
Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce that Prom is right around the corner on April 12th! The theme for this year’s Prom is Midnight Masquerade, and it promises to be a night full of elegance and mystery. Tickets are now available for purchase at $20 for a single ticket or $35 for a couple. If you plan on bringing a guest from outside our school, be sure to fill out the necessary form and turn it in to Mrs. Faller as soon as possible. Let’s get ready for a night to remember!
In sports news, we’re incredibly proud of our Boys' Basketball team, who competed in the Regional Tournament in Minot this Monday. Though they fought hard and gave it their all, they unfortunately won’t be advancing to State. Despite this, we want to commend them for their incredible effort, teamwork, and perseverance throughout the season. It’s been a privilege watching them represent our school with so much heart, and we look forward to seeing what they’ll accomplish next year!
Lastly, let’s keep pushing forward, Comets—Spring Break is just around the corner on the 19th! It’s well-deserved and much anticipated, so make sure to finish up any outstanding work and get ready to enjoy a little rest and relaxation.
We’re so proud of all of our students and staff for their hard work this quarter. Keep up the amazing work, and let’s continue to support one another as we head into the final stretch of the school year. Go Comets!
