Happy February, Comets!

As we welcome in the new month, we also would like to remind you that third quarter eligibility starts this week. Any students with a failing grade will unfortunately not be able to participate in extracurriculars. Be sure to stay on top of your assignments and reach out to teachers if you need help to keep up with your coursework.

The girls' basketball season is nearing its end, and their final home game of the season will be this Friday at 5:30. It's also Senior Night, and we want to invite all of you to come out and support the team, as well as celebrate the achievements of our three senior players. It’s always a special occasion, so let’s show our appreciation and make it a memorable evening for them!

Tonight, the boys’ basketball team will be playing Tioga at home at 5:45. Let’s pack the stands and show our school spirit by cheering them on to victory! The energy and support from the crowd make all the difference, so bring your school pride and get ready to cheer loud and proud.

Last weekend, our Speech team competed in their first meet of the season in Minot. We are so proud of everyone who participated and gave their best efforts. Special congratulations go to Vivian Lundeen and Teija Hokenson for their performances in EPR, where they placed 5th and 4th, respectively. This weekend, they’re heading to Kenmare, and we’re excited to see them continue their success and hopefully bring home even more medals. Best of luck to the team!
